Learning about the future of this car, most motorists got frustrated – the exterior of this concept car is too extra-ordinary which looks like a face of a pug puppy.

Fuel to the fire of dispute about this concept poured engineers from Honda, who added to these retro exterior modern technologies taking into account the problem of the air pollution in future.

This concept was created under the influence of N360 – the car that Honda produced in the 60’s of the last century. EV-N is 1,475 mm in width and less than three meters in length and in the cabin there is room for 4 people.

The car runs on electricity. On the roof are panels that collect solar energy, which feeds the on-board electronics. In addition, EV-N is equipped with a HELLO system, which allows the model to “communicate” with other cars.

More than a year ago, the automobile community stirred rumors that Toyota in cooperation with Subaru were developing a new sports coupe. Such an alliance may seem strange only at first glance. Indeed, in spite of different philosophies, both companies have a lot in common.

Toyota has never launched a coupe. Cumbersome Toyota Camry Solara shouldn’t be counted. But Toyota had such exceptional vehicles as Celica and Supra, which after removal from the production have left many inconsolable fans around the world.

Subaru doesn’t produce coupe as well. Although the sport has a direct relationship with it, this company has long enjoyed a reputation in the fierce rally battles. Therefore, production coupe is a justified step for both companies.

Toyota owns the control package of share of Subaru as both companies have decided to join forces. Perhaps a crisis was an opportune moment. It remains less than a month and we will be able to see the fruit of this cooperation – Toyota FT-86 coupe at the Tokyo salon.

This is only a concept. Although as hinted the Japanese, the car will be put into a serial production with minimal changes, which affect mostly futuristic interior but not exterior. The car turned out quite compact. Length is 4,16 m, width is 1,76 m, height – 1,26 m and the wheelbase – 2,57 m. Landing formula is 2 +2. Under the hood there is a two-liter Subaru boxer engine with the output of 200 hp which is mated with six-speed mechanical transmission.

All the power of a herd of two hundred horses sent to the rear axle, although with time is not excluded and the emergence of all-wheel drive versions. We must not forget that in the development of machinery took part Subaru, known for its all-wheel drive madness. The design of the concept car was developed by Europeans in Toyota design center ED2, located in Nice.

It is expected that the sales of the new sports coupe will begin in the middle of 2010 and it will cost about 20,000 dollars in Japan.

Needless to say, that Toyota FT-86 will have a “twin-brother” marked Subaru. Technical filling of both cars will be the same, but the design will be different. It is possible that the coupe from Subaru will cost a bit more expensive and that it will use wheel-drive system while Toyota will offer a simpler, “budget” option. We can only wait for the official presentation, where the Japanese will certainly talk about their future plans.

This striking concept debuted at the Geneva Motor Show. Take a look at the future Ford! This stunning car called Iosis MAX is a concept car that shows in what direction will a new generation C-MAX and Focus develop.

The presenter of the vehicle at the Geneva Motor Show was Martin Smith, a project leader, a man who was at the forefront of the design of the MAX, the main trends of which have been shown at S-MAX in 2004. The aggressive grille, stretched headlights, taillights licking the sides of the body, all-glass roof, these things will be moved to the production version of the C-MAX.There are reports that there is a number of innovations, such as the sliding rear doors, roof spoiler, the lack of side racks and futuristic “floating” seats.

Although the four-seat concept car is worse than the current C-MAX, the production version will be available in full – five-seat, as close to the sporty appearance of the concept, and the first time in seven-seat variant. The car will also be available in a bright yellow color.

The vehicle is also expected to be in presented in the concept of multifunctional instrument panel, with a new Human Machine Interface management system, and rearview camera.

The car will be equipped with powerful 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder EcoBoost, the automatic stop and start system, as well as Powershift gearbox. As for the new C-MAX, it is planned to start sales in 2010. Currently, however, this date is questionable.

MINI is celebrating a great birthday: Exactly fifty years ago, on 26 August 1959, the classic Mini was presented to the public for the first time, a unique story of success starting out and today giving MINI the perfect opportunity to look ahead without losing sight of the brand’s great tradition.

This two-seater is designed to accommodate even the most powerful engine currently available in MINI and with the 1.6-liter twin-scroll turbocharged power unit carried over from the MINI John Cooper Works.

Concept offers truly outstanding performance. Maximum output is 155 kW/211 hp, peak torque 260 Newton-meters/192 lb-ft increasing through the Overboost function for a short while to an even more substantial 280 Newton-meters/206 lb-ft. And now the MINI Coupe Concept offers everything it takes to exceed even the supreme performance of the MINI John Cooper Works with this unique power unit.

The body design of the MINI Coupe Concept also bridges the gap from the earliest days of the Mini’s history all the way to the more distant future of the brand, emphasizing the unique nature of the concept as well as its full membership in the MINI family. At the same time the individual and emotional design language arouses the expectation of a particularly thrilling experience on the road.

The new concept car carries over the unmistakable front end look from the four-seater MINI. Smoothly balanced contours on the engine lid characterized by wide and sweeping radius, the large headlights, the homogenous shape of the radiator grille and the wide lower air intake give each model that unique look, openness and charm so typical of the brand. Through the greater rake of the windscreen on the MINI Coupe Concept, the car looks even more striking and dynamic, the low and streamlined body proving clearly that the MINI Coupe Concept is a particularly outstanding performer.

The rear-end design of the MINI Coupe Concept consistently follows the need to optimize the flow of air in the interest of both driving dynamics and efficiency. The principle of “form follows function” so essential to MINI, the look and design of various body elements, fully reflects the characteristic features and qualities of the car. Through its design alone, therefore, the MINI Coupe Concept clearly confirms its sporting potential in a particularly credible and convincing manner.

In MINI Coupe Concept there is another distinctive feature that provides additional space in the cabin and has a practical significance: the compartment between the passenger area and trunk has openings. Thus obtained seamless loading luggage rather unusual for a coupe, it gives the driver and passengers direct access to objects placed in the luggage compartment, even during movement. As a result, bags, which are, for example, drinks, music CDs, or road maps, are safely stowed in the trunk and at the same time, there are always at hand. In addition to the corporate body design, the models MINI, MINI Clubman and MINI Convertible has already established modern standards of agility and the joy of driving among the premium compact car segment. Powerful engines and advanced suspension technology ensures a truly unique experience behind the wheel. Front-wheel drive and powerful disc brakes on all four wheels provide the basis solely of safe and agile ride. The concept model is based on the idea of reducing weight. For example, this two-seater comes with an aluminum roof that doesn’t only have a positive effect on reducing the weight of the concept, but also contributes to lowering the center of gravity significantly reducing the rolls and better handling. The lighter weight also means greater cost; MINI Coupe Concept offers the possibility of combining driving pleasure with the fuel economy and reduces CO2 emissions to a minimum, which is an important trend of our time. MINI Coupe Concept is designed for motorists who are inspired by the unique combination of driving pleasure, the embodiment of a certain style of living and excellent quality, this is the characteristic for all models of MINI.
