Promising Swiss automobile company GreenGT has recently released details of an all-electric supercar, which will be the most powerful and high-tech electric racing car ever built.
The Twenty-4 is under development at the moment, however according to some sources the vehicle is expected to be equipped with a 100kW electric engine, which will provide a 350-400 horsepower and the maximum speed of 275km / h.
24 hours of Le Mans is perhaps the most famous endurance motor race in the world, although it is not the most environmentally friendly. GreenGT is developing a streamlined clean supercar for the 2011 competition.
The car was designed by five students from the CCi du Valenciennois school located in France. The vehicle is is expected to have a fiberglass body on a carbon-fiber monocoque chassis glass. Equipped with double-100kW electric motors with a capacity of 350 to 400 hp the car will accelerate from 0 to about 100km / h in 4 seconds. GreenGT company chief engineer Christoph Schwarz announced that GreenGT Twenty-4 design could become a prototype of an electric racing car for Le Mans 2011, as well as road going electric supercar. These two options are possible!
Will this be enough to win the famous Le Mans? It is early to say anything, because everything depends not only on the car, but also on the racer.
