Just like before it has now made the Cherokee auto mobile manufacturing brand get to show case their concept car to the common public. The latest jeep concept car has been inspired from the consumers. The jeep is the outcome of an online contest where the consumers rather the car lovers pointed it out that they wanted some thing similar to the Grand Cherokee and thus it was lined up accordingly and made in to a concept and catered to the mass.

The engineers of this concept car have extended an all black look to the car, and has inspired them to name the car as Darth Vader. The car has been given some of the most distinctive features and has been lined up for mass production. The interior of the car has been featured with leather seats, heated front seats, along with the steering wheel and shifter wrapped in leather as well. The car also ahs a music system for all the music lovers who love to listen to songs while they are driving. The car has incorporated 9 speakers which are of 506 watts along with a sub woofer.

The other features of the car includes Park view rear back up camera, Park sense which is a rear park assisting system, keyless enter n go feature, a hands free communication system and along with a horde of features which ensure the safety and security of the riders effectively and efficiently.

The concept cars of the Hyundai Motor Group and the Renault Samsung Group have already taken part in that race to introduce the concept car which will have zero emission and run on electrical energy.  Both of these car manufacturers have committed that they will produce this concept car in huge numbers for the common people; they are likely to be produced in the year 2013.

The KIA Motors Corp., a part of the Hyundai group has already introduced an electric concept car named Ray; it is a totally electrically driven concept car and not a hybrid at all. They have said that they would be producing 2500 units this year for all the public agencies and later go in to mass production in the year 2013.

Renault Samsung’s Korean body is planning to design and manufacture a similar project in the mid sized SM3 sedan version. They too are thinking of designing their car in the similar lines of Kia’s Ray and producing it for the masses and giving the people on the earth a healthier air to breathe in.

The energy refueling technique is very easy for both of these cars, for Ray the user will require to refuel the car by just visiting the charging stations, and the other will require exchanging their batteries at the swap station.

The automobile engineers who have designed this wonder are hoping it to put in to production for universal usage not before 2015. They have laid down the features on which the concept car will be built up on. Some of the features are that it will have an interchangeable platform that offers a 40kWh lithium polymer liquid-cooled battery pack, 120-150 mile range and a top speed governed at 85 mph.

The engineers are in talks with the major auto mobile manufacturers of Asia, talks are even in process with the renowned designer Brian Rhim who is supposed to give the outer lay out of the car. The car will be given the best deign that will be finalized after discussions with the engineers. The Kar will be facing quite many adversities judging by the issues faced by the other EV startups, to add up to these issues there are the problems related to produce a car from scratch too. So this concept car has to endure a lot of struggles to see the light of the day.

The engineers are mum on the words of the cost of this concept car but they sure of one thing that they are not going to produce only luxury sedans.

This four seat convertible is truly one of a kind as it has incorporated an olive wood interior. The wood has been derived from a 300 year old olive tree that fell in a storm outside of Naples in Italy. Ciel or the “sky” as in French is equipped with a 3.6 liter twin turbo charged V6 engine and a hybrid system with a lithium-ion battery. The car has a 125 inch wheelbase with an interactive front console.  Extensive use of high quality natural leather is seen on all interior finish and seats.

The Ciel is an audaciously designed car, but not a reckless exercise in excess.

This is one car that is specifically designed for family outings and hence concentrates on exclusive rear access doors without disturbing those in the front two seats.  Though there is no announcement regarding prices, it is expected to be in a range of $100,000.

Some of the features that were present in the 1969 Hurricane included station-seeking radio, air conditioner for temperature control, and rear vision camera along with a programmed route finder.

The Hurricane had a very unconventional design with hydraulically-powered canopy which was used for entering the car. There were no traditional doors. There were also many safety features incorporated in the car such as a fuel tank, integrated roll-over bar, ignition safety locks, interior padding and a fire warning system.

General Motors design chief Michael Simcoe commented that the restoration of the Hurricane is a good thing to happen. Holden’s research and development organization was the force behind the production of the car. This organization used to run in the 1960s.

The Pathfinder route guidance system and the rear-view camera is said to be the car’s pioneering features. The pathfinder’s aim is to work as navigation system for guiding the drivers to move forward on their intended routes.  The car had a dash-mounted panel which illuminated arrows for giving the driver the clue about the right turns.

The Hurricane car made use of a closed circuit television along with the rear-view camera for further helping the driver. The car went into restoration in the year 2006 after getting recovered from a trade school. The restoration work was led by Former Holden chief studio engineer Rick Martin.

The classic car show, Motorclassica, which will take place at the Melbourne Royal Exhibition Building for three days starting from October 21, will be displaying the restored Hurricane.

This version of the car has stayed true to its original version of the one designed by the first female designer of Acura, Michelle Christensen; it features a lot of sensuous curves along with deeply sculpted shoulders and strong character lines.

The makers of this car specify this innovative concept car has the capacity of ‘production potential’. They believe that this car of theirs can give competition to its urban contemporary Renault Twizy. This two-seater has a far sportier outlook than its Renault counter part and its frontal styling depicts the upcoming extended range of electric hatchback by Ampera. The designs of the Vauxhall make are a bit more aggressive and thus will be more appealing to the younger generation.

The engineers of Vauxhall think that this car’s concept is a much more practical one and it can attract the Gen Y effectively. The two seat lay out of this particular concept car is also tandem. The design of the car is such that it is light weight. It weighs only one third of the present small version of hatchback. The design of the car makes it quite agile and easily maneuverable. Vauxhall assures that the rider will sure have fun to drive this wonder. They assure that this car is going to be a hit among the young generation and they would love to have this model for themselves.

The MissionL is a sedan that is compact and unique. The vehicle is an evolution of the Volkswagen PQ25 car platform. This is the same platform that also underpins the Polo, the Fabia and the Vento. The Fabia Sedan is the first Skoda car that is going to be based on the MissionL platform.  The European and the Chinese versions of the car will be followed after some time. The MissionL concept car is one that sports of unique optical light guides like the new Audis in the market called the Day-Time Running Lights. The MissionL has the objective of showcasing the design of the Laura or the sub Octavia compact for Europe. This five door car is one that is very close to the production as per the brand.

When it comes to the Maybach Exelero it has been seen that the car manages a top speed of above 350 km/hr. The weight of the car is 2.66 tons and it sports the looks of a small van. The tires that have been designed for the car cope with the weight of the car and also provide safety, comfort and stability to the car.

It was in the year 2003 that the project team of the car began its work. The team had a number of Mercedes Benz engineers who has taken up the responsibility of the engineering. These designers were headed by Prof Harald Leschke along with 2 professors and 4 students coming from the Transportation Design Department of Pforzheim Technical College. It was after 9 months that the draft of one of the students was selected for the realization of a line up of promising design proposals.

The work of the car was completed in 2005 and it took just a time span of 25 months to finish it. The Exelero is based on the Maybach 57 model. The 12 engine that was deployed in the Maybach Sedan despite having two turbo chargers was not powerful enough to cater to the top speed that has been demanded by the car. This is the reason why the displacement has been enlarged from 5.6-5.9 liters in the new car with the turbo being optimized.
