The NS4 is an advanced plug-in hybrid concept vehicle. According to the sources, the debut scheduled for the 2012 Detroit Auto show will be the first official debut of Toyota’s new hybrid. Reports also said that; Toyota will debut the Prius C Hybrid along with the debut of the NS4 concept hybrid.

The prius C has the capacity to accommodate up to five people and is equipped with a powertrain, which consists of a 1.4L gasoline engine and an electric motor. According to Toyota, it delivers a fuel consumption of 2.86L/100 km. This entry level Prius model will be joining the third generation Prius V midsize vehicle, liftback and plug-in model. This model uses the Toyota’s famous Hybrid Synergy Drive which has a 1.5 liter engine.

It is supposed that the NS4 concept hybrid has some of the standard features similar to that of the Prius model. The similar features include nine airbags, steering wheel audio controls and Bluetooth connectivity. It may optionally contain the Entune system. Entune is one of the unique features of Toyota and is a smartphone system which provides access to entertainment, information, internet searches and navigation.

According to Bloomberg, the brand has high expectations for the Prius C and it hopes to sell as many as 12,000 of the car in a month in Japan alone.

The automobile engineers say that this feature of this concept car has been influenced from the smart phones that have been also a boon of modern technology. The exteriors skin of the smart phone can be altered according to the mood of the user so to incorporate this feature in the concept car extends to it an emotional touch and connection with the driver.

This new Fun Vii is manufactured to be a three seater car. It had been first unveiled to the common public in the Tokyo Motor Show, 2011.
