For example, a good sample of this statement is the conceptual offer of the two-seater closed body concept car Saab Fashionista from 4th year student Maulsa who participates in the design project called “The Car of year”. You can like the given project or you can hate it, but the idea of stylized hybrid two-seater closed body Saab is “fresh” and rather original.

According to the description of Maulsa, concept car Saab Fashionista should create the magnificent four-seater, two-seater closed body which mixes futuristic feeling of scientific films with elegance of products from famous Fashion houses, such as Karl Lagerfeld and Chanel. The 24-year-old student also asserts that based on the Volt platform, he projected Saab Fashionista which will be equipped with a six-cylinder hybrid petrol engine together with the electric motor which in the sum are capable to give out the capacity up to 300 horsepower.

Premiere of a new-generation Saab 9-5 is scheduled for autumn this year. However, the Swedish company has not released official pictures of the model till now. But it seems that Saab United portal has managed to get two photos of the new 9-5. It is impossible to understand weather this is the new Saab 9-5, or it is just a fantasy of artist from Saab United. Therefore, we can only wait until September when the Swedes will show their new model at the Frankfurt motor show.

There is an option that Saab 9-5 can enter the market in two body shapes at once: the sedan and wagon. And the appearance of the latter model seems to be the most interesting. Saab 9-5 is built on the platform, which has formed the basis for Opel Insignia. Thus, it can be assumed that the next generation Saab 9-5 will be more than the current car. According to the representation of the company the vehicle is expected to be much more comfortable. As a result, Saab hopes that the 9-5 will be real competitor in the market not only for Volvo S80, but also for such cars as the BMW 5-Series, Mercedes-Benz E-Class and Audi A6.
