Ahead of the auto show at Geneva , Land Rover has released some details of this new concept car in the offering. The Range is a car that is going to emit gases of 89g/km only and this is possible due to the existence of an electric motor and the battery pack that allows the car to travel till 20 miles an hour on electricity alone. The manufacturer has not yet disclosed ant specific details on the concept car however it is said to be a power train that has a 3.0 liter TDV6 engine (diesel). The car promises to also deliver a top speed drive on its four wheels.

This car is going to make its debut at the Geneva car show and it is expected that more vehicle details are going to be released on the car soon. This car is receiving a number of tuning programs from prominent companies in the world.

This SUV is one that is widely anticipated by people across the world to be a power house of adventure and speed. We just have to wait and watch before the verdict is finally passed!

The vehicle is going to be imported from the Jaguar Land Rover’s Halewood plant that is located in the UK and the company has plans to lunch the vehicle as the Range Rover at its entry level. The car has the special features of a 240 HP and a 2.0 liter engine.

Car lovers caught a first glance of the vehicle at the paris Motor show in the month of September in 2010 and it carried a price tag £30,000. In India the price tag is about 21 lakhs and it is cheaper compared to the other luxury cars like the Jaguar and the XKR sedans that are available in the market for Indian consumers.

India has to wait and see whether India is going to get the vehicle with three doors or five doors when the car is launched.

Today it was announced that concept model Land Rover LRX will be put on serial production. However not under mark Land Rover as it was thought earlier,  it will carry the legendery mark – Range Rover.

The head of British company Phil Popham has declared in interview that if LRX will be given a life , it will be only under the badge of Range Rover. Besides Popham  told that the serial version will  differ very lightly  from the concept. Production is going to be  started next year. Despite of promises such as  to keep conceptual design ( as much as possible ), cardinal changes will be made and it is already known what: Doors will  not be two, but five and the roof line will be above.

Technically LRX  will become descendant present of Freelander. And at last, the head Jaguar Land Rover has dispelled rumors that LRX will have a monodrive gear – ” Cars with marks Land Rover and Range Rover are always an all wheel drive “.  So LRX will be geniune 4х4.
