Zoe Z.E. Concept, presented at the exposition of Renault at the Frankfurt motor show, is viewed as a vehicle ideally suited for everyday use, whether for going to work, school or shopping. With dimensions of 4.1×1.8×1.5 meters the all-electric concept car has a wheelbase of 2.6 m. The 95-hp electric engine (with torque of 225 Nm), receives energy from lithium batteries and provides maximum speed of 140 km / hour.

This is a good indicator for a vehicle weighting 1400 kg. Renault have not disclosed any information about the acceleration time from 0 to 100 km / h. When fully charged the battery can run up to 160 km. Charging in normal mode takes from four to eight hours, while accelerated mode the charging takes 20 minutes. With the use of «Quickdrop» (special station) battery rebuilds its capacity in just three minutes.

Zoe Z.E. Concept is equipped with a rear spoiler, which takes the operating position when you reach a speed of 90 km per hour and serves as a stop signal.

Front and rear lights are protected from minor injuries with filler of polyurethane gel, and air conditioning system, developed in cooperation with the firm L’Oreal, supplies air, which contains skin softening component. Depending on the layout of the passenger compartment (4/3/2 seats), the luggage capacity is 150/325/500 liters.

One of the four conceptual models with zero emissions introduced by Renault attracted the attention of the visitors of the Frankfurt Motor Show 2009 very much.

The new concept of Renault was developed in order to meet ever increasing needs of environmentally friendly vehicle. But at the same time the concept car enables the buyer to acquire a beautiful car.

The Renault Zoe Zero Emission Z.E. has 4,1 m length, 1,8 m width, 1.5 m height, 2.6 m wheel base. The energy is generated by lithium-ion batteries and electric system and can provide power of approximately 70kW (95 hp) and maximum torque of 225Nm.

The automaker has not made any announcement on how long it takes from the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h. But it is already reported that its maximum speed is 140 km/h.

Behind the car there is a rectangular spoiler with LEDs, which is put forward at a speed exceeding 90 km/h. The signal of the brake is located on the roof.

One of the technical features of Zoe ZE Concept is the roof, which protects the interior of the car both from heating and cooling. Front and rear lights are protected from small strokes with polyurethane gel, and the batteries are cooled by air from the air intakes which are placed on the front and rear.

There is one more important feature: the air coming from the climate control system to the car is mixed with a hydrating substance that protects the skin of the driver and passengers from … excessive humidity. There is also a function of salon aromatization – to create a special mood with the use of different flavors, as well as the function of Detox, by which the interior is cleaned from harmful substances. These systems are developed together with the office of L’Oreal firm.

But this car is not a development of the Japanese company Nissan; it belongs to the Korean company Samsung. If you go into details the company Samsung belongs to the French car company Renault, which has a strong partnership with the Japanese Nissan. Japanese and French companies have composed a well-known Renault-Nissan alliance.

And recently, Korean manufacturer Samsung introduced the first sketches of new sedan called Nissan Almera Classic, which has a conceptual name Samsung eMX (eco-Motoring Experience). Based on these sketches, we can judge the design of new Korean Sedans Samsung SM3.

Representatives of the company Samsung don’t speak about any technical features, but the experienced journalists have found out some details of the new sedan. A donor for the new car will be a platform from a Japanese company, but the engine is taken from the car Renault Laguna – GT. Most likely it will have working volume of two liters, and capacity of more than 200 horsepower.

Recently the presentation of the Romanian Renault’s budget brands, Dacia, held a presentation in Barcelona to unveil the new Sandero Stepway, compact hatch-crossover with high clearance. When looking at the Sandero Stepway you feel like it’s Dejavu and you are absolutely right – the car is actually the European version of Crossover Renault Sandero Stepway, produced for the South American market. Apparently, the French automaker was in such a hurry to withdraw the new model on the market that does not even change the name of the car.

The clearance of the new Stepway is 20 mm higher than that of conventional Sandero. The improvements that can be distinguished visually are made of iron and painted in body color bumper, new fog lamps, as well as protective linings for wheel arches and shiny chrome sills, exterior mirrors and door handles.
In a press release issued by the company, Dacia states that the characteristic black upholstery with visible white line and special inserts are used for the interior of the Stepway.

Depending on the country, Sandero Stepway crossover will be available with 1.6 liter gasoline engine powered with 90 hp and 1.5 liter dCi diesel powered with 70 hp. In most European countries, the sales of new Dacia model will start in coming September.
