It is good that most car manufacturers have begun to pay attention to environmental safety features of their newly designed vehicles. In this regard the latest development was the concept of a hybrid car from Mercedes-Benz.

Mercedes-Benz B-Klasse, which served as the basis for the new Concept Blue Zero vehicles has immediately spawned three new models.

Mercedes Blue Zero E-Cell is a classic electric car with its own advantages and disadvantages, among which the short path range, which is only 200 km, although it should be noted that this disadvantage is common for most electric cars.

Another model of the same class, the Blue Zero E-Cell Plus is a hybrid, equipped with both electric and gasoline engines, which increase the distance run up to 600 km. The fuel consumption is very small, just 2.9 liters per hundred km, but this is another plus in favor of eco-friendliness.

The third option would be a model for fans of the hydrogen engine (400 km).

The cost of these cars is unknown, as these are still concept vehicles, but it will be clearly higher than that of gasoline counterparts.

Mercedes-Benz has not yet released a SLS AMG supercar, but started to think about the supercar’s electric version. Although, a little time remains until September when the Germans are, in fact, planning to take the wraps off the ideological successor to the famous “seagull” 300 SL. Perhaps it is worth beginning to work on a new car. Moreover, the development of the electric supercar takes a long time.

According to the director of the AMG studio Volker Mornhinweg, the new supercar will receive four electric engines with a total capacity of 532 horsepower. This installation will be at the expense of lithium-ion batteries.

By the way, the manufacturer promises up to 150-180 kilometers non-stop journey. After which you will certainly need to put the supercar’s battery to charge for 8 hours.

The dynamics of the car is said to be excellent. If the gasoline version can reach up to 100km/h in 3.8 seconds, the electrical car can do the same in 4 seconds, when the maximum speed of the car is 200 kilometers per hour.

AMG is going to deal with testing the power setup of the electric supercar at the end of this year. And by 2015, the Germans are planning to launch production of their new civilian car.

In support of this statement reporters posted a few new photos of the super car in the Internet.

The well-known German publication “Autobild” placed the photos on its pages, allowing tolook at the new car Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Gullwing from all angles. Taking into account the fact that the company Mercedes-Benz published the official photos of the interior of the super car a few weeks ago, we can say that the image of the successor to the legendary 300SL Gullwing is completely declassified.

The car, the exterior of which harmoniously combines contemporary fashion and retro-style, debuted last September at the international motor show in Frankfurt. Under the hood of the German sports car the 571 strong engine V8 with a capacity of 6.2 litres is located. The engine is connected with a seven-level gearbox with two clutches, which will help the model to pick the first “hundred” in 3.8 seconds and extend acceleration up to 315 km / hr, informs the WCF.

The cost of the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Gullwing coupe will be approximately $200,000. After two years in the market an open version (cabriolet) of the model will be produced.

Photographers even managed to shoot this car during a test drive.

As previously reported, the new ML will receive a fairly blatant appearance in the style of the large GL. But under the hood of the car the company wants to establish not only the usual V6 and V8, but the new 2.2-liter 4-cylinder diesel engine, which thanks to modern technology gives quite decent 204 hp. At the top of the same scale would be ML 55 AMG – the car will have 571 hp (now the most powerful version of ML is the ML 63 AMG, which has a 6.2-liter engine, which develops 510 hp).

The exact date of the presentation of the new Mercedes-Benz ML has not yet been reported. Most likely, the car will be show next autumn at the motor show in Paris, whereas serial production SUV will begin only in 2011.

Interestingly, the company BMW announced about the possibility of the production engine with three cylinders earlier than Mercedes-Benz. However, if the Bavarian company wants to put three cylinder units solely on the model of the first series, the Mercedes-Benz engine is ready to equip the C-Class Sedan with such an engine.

However, C-Class will not receive a simple engine. The car will begin to equip the new hybrid, which will consist of a fairly powerful electric motor and economical 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol unit.

Total power of the hybrid will be about 130 hp. Of course, this is not very much, but the customers love to save, so this will be enough. In fact, the average fuel consumption of Mercedes-Benz C-Class with the new hybrid will be about 4 liters per 100 km.

According to the newspaper AutoBild, the new car will be produced in two versions – “City”, which is more focused on high-speed driving, and the “off -road”. The last one will receive a little different running gear system with full drive and reduced transfer.

With regard to appearance, it is all more or less understandable. The new ML will get a very grave appearance in the style of large and small GL GLK. But under the hood of the car the manufacturer intends to establish not only the usual V6 and V8, but the new 2.2-liter 4-cylinder diesel engine, which thanks to modern technology gives quite decent 204 hp. At the top of the same scale would be the ML 55 AMG – the car will have 571 hp (now the most powerful version of ML is the ML 63 AMG, which has a 6.2-liter engine, 510 hp).

Mercedes-Benz BLK tentatively is scheduled to appear in the market in 2012 and take its place in the model number of German concern below the crossover GLK. It is anticipated that the design of the new vehicle, which will created based on a platform for B-Class, will be performed in a uniform style with the GLK.

According to the publication of Autobild, the car can be equipped with three turbo diesel engines powered with 175, 204 and 225 hp, as well as petrol engines powered with from 204 to 238 hp. Those customers who do not want traffic jams in the “pull” manual gearbox, the company will offer eight-automatic transmission.
