In the recent times it has been observed that car manufacturers are going in for the Green Revolution and are looking ahead towards a greener future. Ever since its last appearance at the Geneva 2010 motor shows the Italian car brand has not been much in the news. The recent news is that this reputed car manufacturer is going to introduce a super hybrid car that will be a trendsetter in both design and features.

In the Geneva Motor Show of 2010 Ferrari had introduced the Hybrid Concept that was based on the standard 599. The main target of the firm at Maranello was to make and develop a Hybrid Technology to reduce carbon emissions to around 240g/Km by the year 2018. This is going to be a significant reduction from the figure of 310g/km that was recorded last year. There are certain rumors that Bosch the German Corporate is aiding Ferrari with the software and the engineering aspects of the car.

The new car will weigh 100kg more than the low weight 599 concept car that was revealed by the company at Geneva last year. The brand is very confident with this new version as it is an improved version. The brand is also going to develop a traction control system that is a super fast one.

This will be made by reversing the torque of the electric motor over cutting the engine power. The electric system will also feed in small amounts of torque controls while the vehicle is being accelerated. Currently it is not certain whether this car will be using all of these features in the new Super Hybrid Car that is going to be introduced.

Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano HGTE Sport Package

Ferrari revealed a new Handling GTE (Handling Gran Turismo Evoluzione) package for the 599 GTB Fiorano in Geneva. The package includes a modified set-up and rear anti-roll bar as well as new calibration settings for the magnetorheological shock absorbers while the V12 coupe’s ride height has also been lowered.
The package includes tires featuring a compound that offers even better grip while other modifications concern the revised F1 gearbox that offers faster shift times, a new engine software strategy that improves accelerator response and a new exhaust silencer.
From a styling point of view, the HGTE package adds a series of sporty exterior and interior features.
The Ferrari HGTE setup includes a rear anti-roll bar, stiffer springs, recalibrated shocks, lowered ride height and tires with better grip. New engine software, in addition, is provided which decreases shift times from the F1 gearbox.
The Handling GT Evoluzione package also includes several distinctive styling modifications as well.
