Ferrari 599XX New Sports Car

Auto manufacturer Ferrari undertook the creation of racing cars, taking into consideration that fans of luxury sports cars may well be interested in such vehicles. Judging from the successful promotion of the Enzo FXX, the second attempt can be successful as well. At this time the model 599 has acquired a sports prototype having letters “XX” in the title.

This car has a lot to look at, including the engine with 700 horsepower. The lightweight body of the new concept car improves the speed characteristics, so the maximum speed of the vehicle is 350 km/h and it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in less than four seconds.

During the tests in Fiorano the car showed excellent results. Suspension and steering parts and a modified exhaust system adds more pluses to the new Ferrari. To improve the dynamics of the car the manufacturer used a new electronic control system called the “High Performance Dynamic Concept”, as well as system alerting the driver called “virtual car engineer”. The price of the novelty and the time of its debut are yet unknown.

Although the car is designed for racing tracks, I’m sure, that many motorists would like to have a ride on it on ordinary roads, but remember they must be even.

Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano HGTE Sport Package

Ferrari revealed a new Handling GTE (Handling Gran Turismo Evoluzione) package for the 599 GTB Fiorano in Geneva. The package includes a modified set-up and rear anti-roll bar as well as new calibration settings for the magnetorheological shock absorbers while the V12 coupe’s ride height has also been lowered.
The package includes tires featuring a compound that offers even better grip while other modifications concern the revised F1 gearbox that offers faster shift times, a new engine software strategy that improves accelerator response and a new exhaust silencer.
From a styling point of view, the HGTE package adds a series of sporty exterior and interior features.
The Ferrari HGTE setup includes a rear anti-roll bar, stiffer springs, recalibrated shocks, lowered ride height and tires with better grip. New engine software, in addition, is provided which decreases shift times from the F1 gearbox.
The Handling GT Evoluzione package also includes several distinctive styling modifications as well. The Ferrari GTB Fiorano, on the outside, benefits from new diamond cut 20″ split-rim wheels with matte silver finish, a matte black rear diffuser and chrome tail pipes. Ferrari, inside, has gone with a layout that includes plently of leather, black Alcantara and carbon-fiber trim.

The car was fully renewed before the auction, and was painted black and red. As expected the organizers 250TR broke the record set by Ferrari 250 GT California Spyder, 1961 release and was sold for € 9,020,000 (about $ 12,169,784). This Ferrari model is considered one of the most popular, competitive and valuable racing cars. It is extraordinarily beautiful and well-recognized. Ferrari 250TR was being manufactured from 1957 to 1958. Overall, 22 legendary sports cars were made. Over the years of his triumph, he won 19 victories. “This legendary 250 TR is one of the most interesting cars ever in the history of the auction,” said Max Girardo, director of RM Europe.
