New Zealand is now in news with a new fleet of car deals that have hit the market. The Toyota Hybrid is one such car that has hit the New Zealand market and it is also creating waves too. The Toyota makers are paying a lot of attention to the development and the growth of their car business and this is the reason why they are focused on bringing new and attractive car deals to the world every year.

The latest major deal that Toyota has bought into the market recently comes from New Zealand where the car brand major has come to an agreement with the Government of the country for providing the Prius and the Hybrid Camry Models.
There are also two other automotive manufacturers that are included in the above contract and the New Zealand Government is to receive a total number of 18,000 vehicles that are a part and parcel of the contract.

Steve Pragnell, the General Manager of Sales and Operations as well as the Spokesperson of the company stated that the contract had been given to the company solely on the fact that it provides a complete mobility solution. The current contract that is provided to the Government provides it with warranty costs, fuel costs as well as resale value and emissions that help manage the overall price for the vehicle.

The company also has future plans to send in two plug-in hybrid models to San Francisco where 150 units have already been dispatched to South and North Carolina. These vehicles join the official car fleet when they were shipped. The contract is also valid till 2012 and it also covers other terms and conditions. As a part of the agreement Toyota will also offer many mini buses and other light weight vehicles for the New Zealand Government.
