Hybrid Porsche in one year

This year, Porsche started to produce the diesel Version of its SUV Cayenne. However, this German company that specializes in the super sports cars, has decided not to stop. In the second half of next year, Porsche will begin the production of the first hybrid in its history! It will also be a Cayenne, which would be called Cayenne Hybrid S.

According to a Board member of the company, Wolfgang Durhaimer, hybrid car will cost about 90 000 euro in Europe. Under the hood Cayenne Hybrid S will have a V6 petrol engine with the volume of 3.0 liters developed by the Volkswagen group, which delivers 333 hp (This unit is now set for Audi S4).

In combination with this device it will work an electric engine, which in convertion to kilowatt would be 52 hp. Total the car will have 385 hp (exactly the same now with 4.8-liter «G», which is tied for Cayenne S). Due to the hybrid motor the Cayenne can accelerate to 100 km /h in 6.8 seconds.
