MINI presents sporty model MINI John Cooper Works World Championship 50 as a reminder of the anniversary of the brand and the victory of the car of John Cooper in the Formula-1 World Championship fifty years ago. According to the press release of the German mark, in 1959, sports car designer by John Cooper won his first champion title in the Formula 1 with Jack Brebemom as a racer. A special version of John Cooper Works, first presented at an international festival MINI United 2009 in the British city of Silverstone, will be released in limited edition quantity of 250 copies .
The car is equipped with four cylinder engine with the power of 211 hp with turbo and direct injection gasoline. Paint coating of MINI John Cooper Works World Championship 50 is colored Connaught Green and is a reminder of the typical colors of British racing cars of 50’s and 60’s of the last century. It perfectly combines with the color of the roof and bonnet stripes colored Pepper White. In addition, a special shade of green with white stripes on the bonnet of the color reflects the concept cars of Cooper F1.
Inside MINI John Cooper Works World Championship 50 creates a climate of a racing car through carbon-filled plastic detail and decoration, seasoned mainly in black. The contrast red line on the lever ICIE and black mats adds a note of sports decor. Decorative slats John Cooper Works and the inserts on the doors are made of carbon. Sports steering wheel with a rim made of leather and Alcantara is the final element of the sports cockpit design.
