Premiere of the next-generation Mercedes-Benz M-Class is scheduled for summer 2011. According to the newspaper AutoBild, the new car will be produced in two versions – “City”, which is more focused on high-speed driving, and the “off -road”. The last one will receive a little different running gear system with full drive and reduced transfer.
With regard to appearance, it is all more or less understandable. The new ML will get a very grave appearance in the style of large and small GL GLK. But under the hood of the car the manufacturer intends to establish not only the usual V6 and V8, but the new 2.2-liter 4-cylinder diesel engine, which thanks to modern technology gives quite decent 204 hp. At the top of the same scale would be the ML 55 AMG – the car will have 571 hp (now the most powerful version of ML is the ML 63 AMG, which has a 6.2-liter engine, 510 hp).
