2010_mercedes_benz_c_classIt is possible that already in 2013 Mercedes-Benz vehicle will have under its hood three-cylinder engines. Interestingly, the company BMW announced about the possibility of the production engine with three cylinders earlier than Mercedes-Benz. However, if the Bavarian company wants to put three cylinder units solely on the model of the first series, the Mercedes-Benz engine is ready to equip the C-Class Sedan with such an engine.

However, C-Class will not receive a simple engine. The car will begin to equip the new hybrid, which will consist of a fairly powerful electric motor and economical 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol unit.

Total power of the hybrid will be about 130 hp. Of course, this is not very much, but the customers love to save, so this will be enough. In fact, the average fuel consumption of Mercedes-Benz C-Class with the new hybrid will be about 4 liters per 100 km.
