Creating a new compact model, the Japanese company Lexus takes into account the experience of European competition. The current trend in the luxury segment of the European market is that buyers increasingly prefer the compact model, not only in the budget class, but also among the proposals in the luxury class.
Japanese brand couldn’t ignore this, so it launched a worthy rival to BMW 1, Audi A3 and Volvo C30.
Lexus introduced only an outline, however, describing the main features of the concept of a new model, scheduled to debut in September in Frankfurt Motor Show.

Advantageous difference from rivals for the Japanese brand will be the proposal of hybrid power plant as the core: it will be borrowed from the larger Lexus Hs250h, which will not be offered in Europe.
With regard to the concept, the company specifically chose the motor show in Frankfurt for the first show, because it is here that Lexus can gather the main competitors in the European market, and the public reaction in their background will be of great importance for the Lexus in the development of the final version.
