Recently Korean company KIA presented its new product, to compete with cars in same category with Ford Fiesta. As already reported by journalists, in March 2009 was presented a conceptual version of the new compact model with code-named No 3. The new KIA with the prefix Venga, rushed into the world of Auto News as the result of that work.
Car was completely designed in Europe. Not hard to guess that the potential audience of the car is a European audience.
Now let’s talk about the characteristics of brand new model. KIA Venga is a mini car and longer from Ford Fiesta only for few millimeters. The latest Kia Venga will be equipped with a sliding 60/40 split rear seat that also folds flat into the floor to create a spacious cargo bay and, depending on model, a tilt-&-slide all-glass panoramic roof.
Every engine in the Venga line-up will be fitted with Kia’s fuel-stretching ISG (Idle Stop & Go) technology and will comply with Euro 5 emission standards. Venga will be marketed exclusively in Europe where consumers will be offered a choice of two 1.4-litre and 1.6-litre gasoline and diesel engines, generating between 75 and 115 ps.
To the question “When this model will appear in the market “there is no certain answer, but it is likely to happen at the end of this year.
