Today, the use of alternative energy sources is already an axiom. And many are convinced that future cars will be put into motion by means of “green” technology, and will not need a driver at the wheel.
It is a matter of time when this will happen. It is possible that we should get used to the idea that future cars will be completely different from those to which we are accustomed. Meanwhile, a car designer, Christopher Pollard – one of those designers whose projects show us the world of tomorrow, introduced his latest creation – a unique car Jaguar XXI Mark, representing a symbiosis of technology and eco-luxury.
A car with zero emissions is operated by photovoltaic panels that are installed throughout the vehicle. These panels are raised up and face the sun when the vehicle is parked. Notably, during the time of charging, the solar panel should be rotating, following the sun. Energy, produced by solar panels, accumulates in the on-board package of rechargeable batteries. It is the battery that puts the vehicle in motion, when the sun does not shine.
As in the vehicle a driver is not required, the interior of the car consists of armchairs, facing each other. This arrangement creates an atmosphere, prepossessing to socialize.
