Lee Iacocca, the former president of Ford division and the “father” of Masclee-kara Ford Mustang, introduced its own version of the model. This year the car turns 45 years old, so the new name of the vehicle is 2009 1/2 Iacocca 45th Anniversary Edition Ford Mustang. This Masclee-car is designed by designer Michael Leone and built by a legendary body atelier Gaffoglio Family Metalcrafters. The car, also known as Silver Edition Mustang, will be issued with a circulation of only 45 copies. The special edition is decorated with personal logo of Iacocca – the letter “I” and is equipped with Iacocca-badged aluminum door sill plates.
The limited production car will be available with two V-shaped 8-cylinder engine volume of 4.6 liter capacity of 320hp and 400 hp, involving 5 speed gearbox. The special edition also obtained the exclusive 20-inch chrome wheels, with are available to the customers as an option. The car will be first presented to the public at the end of July this year in California Galpin Ford dealerships. The price of the new vehicle will be announced at the same time.
