Ford Iosis MAX Concept

This striking concept debuted at the Geneva Motor Show. Take a look at the future Ford! This stunning car called Iosis MAX is a concept car that shows in what direction will a new generation C-MAX and Focus develop.

The presenter of the vehicle at the Geneva Motor Show was Martin Smith, a project leader, a man who was at the forefront of the design of the MAX, the main trends of which have been shown at S-MAX in 2004. The aggressive grille, stretched headlights, taillights licking the sides of the body, all-glass roof, these things will be moved to the production version of the C-MAX.There are reports that there is a number of innovations, such as the sliding rear doors, roof spoiler, the lack of side racks and futuristic “floating” seats.

Although the four-seat concept car is worse than the current C-MAX, the production version will be available in full – five-seat, as close to the sporty appearance of the concept, and the first time in seven-seat variant. The car will also be available in a bright yellow color.

The vehicle is also expected to be in presented in the concept of multifunctional instrument panel, with a new Human Machine Interface management system, and rearview camera.

The car will be equipped with powerful 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder EcoBoost, the automatic stop and start system, as well as Powershift gearbox. As for the new C-MAX, it is planned to start sales in 2010. Currently, however, this date is questionable.
