Novitec Tunes the Alfa Romeo MiTo

German tuner company Novitec, which specializes on Italian cars, has developed a special program for impatient buyers of MiTo. If you have not been able to resist the normal version and have already purchased it, then you will probably regret, as the hot GTA will be released soon.

Petrol turbocharged 1.4-liter engine of the vehicle now gives out 186 horsepower instead of the normal 155hp. Moreover, the maximum torque has increased by almost the same number of units – 30 Nm. This is all due to the new control module. The updated MiTo now runs from 0-100 km/h in 7.4 seconds, which is a 0.7 second improvement over stock models.

Diesel engines are also changed with a new control unit for the 1.3-liter. This increases the power of the car by 20 horsepower to 110 mares. If the 1.6-liter engine version is equipped with a similar module, then the power will increase by 24 forces.

Not many tuner companies are able to manage make the Alfa Romeo look better. However, Novitec did a great job. Of course there are no global changes, just a light external tuning. For MiTo they have lining on the front bumper with integrated spoiler, on the threshold, and a good parody of a sports rear diffuser.

Pay attention to the exhaust, it is completely new. 18-inch Novitec wheels give the car more sporty look. They perfectly match the MiTo.

You can also ask the German tuner company to work on the suspension of the car. They can simply equippe the car with short springs and the car will lose four centimeters of clearance. You can also order to set up a managed set of springs. Thus you will be able to adjust the stiffness and, consequently, the ground clearance yourself. In this case, Mito will be lower by 3.5-6.5 cm.
